Dr. Lan is the attending psychologist at the Sacramento County Adult Psychiatric Support Services (APSS) clinic, where she provides individual psychotherapy, group therapy, comprehensive psychological assessments, and psychological consultations. In addition, she serves as a primary supervisor to psychology postdoctoral fellows, supervises advanced medical students on group therapy, and facilitates third year psychiatry residents' practicum in group therapy at the APSS clinic. Dr. Lan's clinical and research interests focus on psychoanalytic psychotherapy, object relations theory, group therapy, alexithymia/emotional intelligence and physical pains, and psychotherapy for clients of cultural and linguistic minorities.
