Dr. Horst completed medical school at the University of Colorado, his general psychiatry residency at the University of Washington and child psychiatry training here at UC Davis. He is the medical director for Sacramento County Child and Family Mental Health. He is actively involved in the general psychiatry and child psychiatry training programs at UC Davis and runs a child psychiatry mentoring program for medical students through a grant from the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation.
