Dr. Cox provides comprehensive psychiatric care using group therapy. His specialties include medication support groups and group therapy for bipolar disorder. He was recognized with awards for teaching excellence in 1994 and 1995 and has written papers and made numerous presentations on group therapy. Dr. Cox continues to do research in medical student education. Other professional interests include Sjögren's syndrome and sports psychiatry.
