Shahrokh is President-Elect of Administrators in Academic Psychiatry

Narriman Shahrokh, chief administrative officer in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, has been elected President-Elect of the Administrators in Academic Psychiatry (AAP).
Shahrokh will assume the role of AAP president in 2010. Administrators in Academic Psychiatry is dedicated to the improvement of mental health-care delivery, education and research through professional management in departments of psychiatry. The organization was founded in 1985 to provide education and networking opportunities for administrators of psychiatric programs in academic settings.
Prior to being elected president-elect, Shahrokh chaired the AAP’s Committee on Education.
