Sally Ozonoff, UC Davis professor of psychiatry and an autism researcher at the UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute, has been appointed as a joint editor of the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry.
The journal is an internationally recognized publication outlet for experimental and developmental psychopathology. Its impact factor — a measurement of how often a journal’s papers are cited — is second among journals devoted to developmental psychology.
Ozonoff has reviewed for the journal since 1991 and was appointed to its editorial board in 1998. She will assume the role of joint editor for autism submissions in October 2009.
