Klingenstein fellowship program
Physician mentor information
We are pleased to announce that the UC Davis Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has been awarded a grant by the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation (KTGF) to create a program to engage first and second year medical students in child and adolescent psychiatry. We invite you to be a part of this exciting opportunity by mentoring a medical student.
The KTGF pairs first year medical students with practicing child and adolescent psychiatrists who serve as mentors. Mentors arrange monthly clinical experiences, provide supervision and professional development, and help medical students choose areas of study to prepare presentations about relevant child and adolescent psychiatry topics.
Mentors must be volunteer clinical or full time faculty members. If you are not on the faculty and would like to join, please contact Marilyn Clark at (916) 734-5514.
The success of the KTGF program depends on the participation of psychiatrists like you. Below you will find a link to an informational and an application packet. If you would like the packet in Microsoft® Word® format, contact Debie Schilling at debie.schilling@ucdmc.ucdavis.edu.
