Med-Psych Residency Journal Review (MPR JR)

  • Combined residents lead a discussion and critical review of a recent article at the interface of medicine and psychiatry.

Resident Med-Psych Conference (MPC-R)

  • Combined residents (excluding interns) present a grand rounds style, interactive, case and evidence-based review of core Med-Psych topics to students, residents and faculty.  Prior presentations have included: Catatonia, The Placebo (and Nocebo) Effect, Long Term Effects and Tapering of Benzodiazepines, Med-Psych Approach to Transgender Patients, Diagnosis and Treatment of Sleep Disorders, Review of Clozapine, Toxic Masculinity and Narcissism in Pop Culture

Faculty Med-Psych Conference (MPC-F)

  • Faculty-driven presentations which are focused on helping residents learn how to integrate their skills in both specialties to provide empathic medical care to the most complex patients.

Med-Psych Residency Administrative Meeting (MPR Admin)

  • Faculty and residents meet monthly to provide support and discuss difficult clinical rotations, in-service exams, recruitment, program improvement, and wellness.
