Question: Where can I obtain a meal ticket if I want to eat on campus? 

At the campus dining hall that is open for the summer session. Pay at the door as you go. Pay with credit card or cash .

Question: What kind of transportation is available on campus?

Bicycles are available for rent from the Bicycle Barn, which is located on campus, at (530) 752-2575.

Question: Where is the Physics Review Course held?

170 Schalm Hall on UC Davis Campus in Davis, CA.

You may pay with check, money order or cashier's check. Mail along with application to:

Question: What days are the course held?

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday through Friday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. —  "Work Problems & Problem Solving with Faculty"

Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. —  Note: Attendance on Sunday is optional.

Question: When is Sunset Splendor?

Sunset Splendor, aka Wine & Cheese Event, will be held on Saturday evening at Putah Creek.

Question: When do I have to pay?

Please pay by July 15, 2008. After July 15, 2008, the price will go up $100.

Question: What is the dress code?

The dress code for the course is casual for all sessions.

Question: What are points of interest around the Davis, CA area?

Points of interest include: Sacramento State Capitol, Old Sacramento, Crocker Art Museum.

Question: Is there childcare available?

The Physics Review Course does not sponsor childcare. The concierge at your hotel may be able to assist you with arrangements.

Question: What is the weather like in August?

It is generally hot in the summer, with daytime temperatures ranging from 85 to 95 degrees.

Question: What transportation is available?

Shuttle transportation from Sacramento International Airport (SMF) to the UC Davis Campus and hotels in Davis is approximately $16 one way and $26 round trip. A taxi is about $35 from the airport one way.

Question: Is there a university discount offered at hotels in Davis?

Most hotels offer a discount, so be sure to ask.
