Carolyn Dewa discusses physician burnout and healthcare quality with US News & World Report

Carolyn Dewa, MPH, PhD was recently spoke about her research review "The relationship between physician burnout and quality of healthcare in terms of safety and acceptability: a systematic review" in an article titled "Is Physician Burnout Affecting Your Care?" published by U.S. News & World Report. Dr. Dewa's literature review published in the journal BMJ Open found that there is moderate evidence that physician burnout is associated with safety-related quality of care.

Dr. Dewa is a professor in the UC Davis Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and a WOS appointment in the Department of Public Health Sciences.
