Pharmacy Residency Programs
The UC Davis Medical Center residency program was established in 1984 and has since grown to include specialized training opportunities to match the dynamic needs of the profession.
Residency Program Mission
- To support the overall pharmacy mission to provide patient care, educate, and conduct research
- To produce capable and adaptable practitioners through focused intensive clinical post-graduate training in a variety of patient-care environments
- To develop expertise in optimal medication use and safety, foster professional integrity, and promote effective teamwork to provide optimal pharmaceutical care
- To create effective practice leaders andeducators that are capable of proactively identifying, analyzing, and initiating process improvements
NOTE: UC Davis Health System follows the AAMC guidelines regarding H-1B sponsorship and does not support the H-1B visa for international pharmacy graduates. In addition, UC Davis Health System does not accept H-1B visa transfers.
