Jennifer Nguyen, Pharm.D.
Hi there! My name is Jennifer Nguyen, and I am a graduate of the UC San Franscisco School of Pharmacy. Before pharmacy school, I received a B.S. from UCLA (go Bruins!) where I majored in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology. I am a California native – born and raised in beautiful sunny San Diego. I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to get a taste of all of California’s major cities – including California’s capitol right here in Sacramento. Outside of the pharmacy world, I enjoy cooking (my specialties are Vietnamese and Korean food), exploring new restaurants, going to the beach with friends and family, growing cymbidium orchids, and oil canvas painting! I am extremely excited for both the challenges and learning opportunities that lie ahead of me during my residency. Currently, my interests in pharmacy include solid organ transplant, cardiology, and educating patients in an ambulatory care setting. I look forward to the great year ahead of me learning from my mentors/preceptors as well as my co-residents!
