Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric Fellowship
Overview
The Department of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics offers a three-year fellowship training at the University of California, Davis. First accredited by the ACGME in 2003, our training program is designed to fulfill the training requirements of the American Board of Pediatrics.
The goals of our training program are to prepare fellows for leadership roles as researchers, clinicians, and teachers in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, and as advocates in addressing the needs of children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral challenges.
Elements of Training
Our program provides comprehensive multidisciplinary clinical training, didactic curricular experiences, community engagement and advocacy opportunities, mentoring in teaching, and research activities.
Application Process
Eligible candidates must have completed training in an ACGME-accredited pediatrics residency program and hold a valid California medical license. Application and further information about our program is available from the training program administrative assistant. Our program participates in the NRMP for Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, with rank lists submitted in October of the year preceding fellowship.
