Brief biography
Dr. Parsons received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a B.A. in English Literature in 2000, from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. In 2007, he received an M.D. from the West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV. After completing residency training in Clinical Pathology at WVU, Dr. Parsons went to the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM to complete a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine/Blood Banking.
Currently, Dr. Parsons serves as Assistant Clinical Professor, at the UC Davis Medical Center, Department of Medical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine where he performs therapeutic apheresis, stem cell collections and blood bank consults.
