Malathy Kapali received her undergraduate medical degree from Madras Medical College, India in 1991. She worked in England for a period of 2 years in clinical hematology. Following this she came to the U.S and did combined AP/CP residency at University of Pittsburgh and surgical pathology fellowship at University of Pennsylvania and cytology fellowship at University of Pittsburgh. Dr.Kapali is board certified in AP/CP and cytopathology. After completion of her training she joined as faculty at Magee Women’s Hospital which was the center for Gynecology and Breast pathology for the University of Pittsburgh. During this period she also was also the co-director for the department of Pathogy at Magee Women’s Hospital.
