- Circulating endothelial cells as a marker of tumor angiogenesis
- Laboratory testing for heparin induced thrombocytopenia
- Laboratory testing for antiphospholipid antibody syndrome
Brief Biography
Kim Janatpour graduated Cum Laude from California State University, Hayward, CA with a B.S. degree in Mathematics. In 1993, she received an M.D. from University of California, Davis, CA. During pathology residency training at UC Davis Medical Center, she did an intensive one year training program in transfusion medicine. After completion of residency training she completed a fellowship in Hematopathology at the UC Davis Medical Center.
Currently, Kim Janatpour serves as Assistant Clinical Professor, Director of Immunology at the UC Davis Medical Center, Department of Medical Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Kim Janatpour is a member of the American Society for Clinical Pathology, American Association of Blood Banks, American Society of Hematology, and the Clinical Cytometry Society.
