Disabled Parking
Various parking areas on UC Davis Health System grounds are reserved for disabled parking for patrons, faculty, staff and students. To use these areas, your vehicle must display a valid disabled placard and/or license plate issued by The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). This permit and/or license plate identify you as someone who may require a wide parking space for use of special equipment, such as a wheelchair or walker.
If you are faculty, staff or a student utilizing these parking spaces, you will be required to purchase and display a valid UC Davis Medical Center "B", "C" or "D" parking permit to use in association with the disabled placard or plate. If you are not a permit holder, a daily permit can be purchased in Lots 14, 16, 18 or 25 via a permit dispensing machine. All Health System permits must be authorized and issued by Parking Services.
Disabled parking is not valid in fire lanes, non-designated parking areas, reserved, or restricted areas. It is allowed at meters and appropriately designated spaces denoted by the international handicap symbol.
