Carpooling to
UC Davis Medical Center

Carpoolers registered in the Green Commuter program receive:

  • Monthly Savings - 50% savings or more over a "B" Permit.
  • Complimentary Parking Permits - Each carpool member receives one Ride Share Permit per fiscal year (valid for 24 days of parking in any "B" parking space at UC Davis Medical Center). This permit is to be used when carpooler has to drive alone to work.
  • Discounted Parking Permits - Carpool members may purchase the Clean Air Commuter Permit – a 50% savings on the daily parking rate.
  • Guaranteed Ride Home - Complimentary transportation services to get you home in the event of an emergency.
  • Pre-taxed Deductions - If you are 50% or more employed, your carpool deductions can be deducted pre-taxed which reduces your taxable income.
  • Win Great Prizes - Carpoolers are eligible to win great prizes as they enter drawings to enhance Green Commuter Programs.

Carpooling with a non-UC Davis Medical Center Employee

Carpools can include non-UC Davis Medical Center employees. In order to be considered, non-medical center employees must work within a five-mile radius of the Medical Center and have completed a carpool participation form. This form must be submitted to and verified by the Parking Services Office. Additional information may be requested.

Only UC Davis Medical Center employees are eligible for the courtesy parking permits or discounted parking benefits.
