Citations

If you receive a citation, the following steps will help guide you through the proper procedures.

DO NOT IGNORE YOUR CITATION:

  1. Unpaid citations will accrue additional late fees which eventually result in a lien on the vehicle's registration at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
  2. Five or more outstanding parking citations may result in your vehicle being booted or towed and impounded for outstanding parking violations. The vehicle will not be released until all outstanding citations (including the towing and storage fees) are paid in full.

Ways to PAY your parking CITATION:

By Mail:
You can mail your payment in the form of a check or money order to parking services.

Write the citation number and vehicle plate number on the check or money order and make payable to "UC Regents":

Parking and Transportation Services
Facilities Support Services Building (FSSB)
4800 2nd Avenue, Suite 1100
Sacramento, CA 95817

Note that only checks or money orders can be accepted through the mail at this time. Credit cards and other payment mediums will not be honored.
