Letter to resident applicants
Dear Prospective Resident:
Thank you for your interest in the UC Davis Otolaryngology residency program. We are excited about the upcoming application season and wish all our applicants the best of luck.
UC Davis offers a special and unique program. The clinical experience provides extensive training in all areas of Otolaryngology and includes significant exposure to cleft lip and palate surgery. Residents have the opportunity to work with 13 departmental faculty as well as visiting faculty members with unique interest in different areas of Otolaryngology. We are not aware of another program that offers as broad of a clinical experience.
Our mentored research experience is designed to develop your research skills and launch your research career. After training at UC Davis many of our graduates choose fellowship training and academic careers.
Our program offers a friendly and supportive learning environment created by both the residents and the faculty. We place high value on academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, human service, broad interests, and professionalism. If completing a residency at UC Davis interests you, please consider applying for an acting internship. Call our residency coordinator at 916-734-8157 or email her at sally.mohr@ucdmc.ucdavis.edu if you have any questions.
We look forward to meeting you and showing you our program.
