How to Give — Orthopaedic Surgery
Any great academic orthopaedic program combines outstanding patient care, cutting-edge research programs and a dedicated commitment to resident education. An annual survey published by U.S. News & World Report ranks the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery 40th out of 170 hospsitals in 16 adult specialties. The continued success of the department's resident education and research programs is dependent on the generosity of grateful patients and alumni and on corporate sponsorship.
Since the department's inception in 1969, many of its residents and fellows have gone on to become nationally and internationally known leaders in the field of orthopaedics. Your donation to the resident education program will help maintain the department's standard of excellence in resident education.
The Lawrence J. Ellison Musculoskeletal Research Center provides an 8,000 square-foot facility where faculty, residents and fellows in the Department of Orthopaedics, as well as medical students, graduate and undergraduate students and visiting scholars can conduct broadly interdisciplinary research. Your generosity helps to sustain the department's commitment to cutting-edge orthopaedic research.
Your contribution to the Department of Orthopaedics helps ensure that residents and fellows will continue to receive outstanding medical education and go on to become national leaders in their field. You may also choose to designate your donation to the Lawrence J. Ellison Musculoskeletal Research Center, enabling the department's physicians and scientists to continue their search for new cures and innovative treatments for orthopaedic injuries and diseases.
