Accepting awards
ACCEPTING YOUR AWARDS
Students can view and accept their financial aid online through the eFAN (electronic Financial Aid Notice) Web site. Students may also request a paper FAN from the financial aid office if necessary.
Before you begin the online acceptance process, you may want to verify your Kerberos password for your UC Davis computing account: Test My Password.
To start the online acceptance process, go to the Online Financial Aid Notice (eFAN) Web site. (Do not begin this process through SISWEB.)
1) Log in with your Student ID and date of birth.
2) Choose "Report Additional Resources" OR "Continue To My eFAN"
3) You will now be viewing a page containing your Cost of Attendance, Eligibility, and Awards.
4) Next, satisfy any outstanding requirements. Do this by clicking on and completing items that have RED "frowning faces." These may include promissory notes and the Statement of Understanding, among others.
NOTE: Requirements for forms that need to be submitted to our office will NOT be satisfied (i.e., turn to GREEN "smiling faces") until we receive the forms from you. However this will NOT prevent you from accepting your awards.
5) After you have satisfied the outstanding requirements, click the "Continue" button.
6) Click on the "Accept My Awards Now" button. This will take you to the SISWEB login. Once logged in, you may accept or decline any offered loans.
NOTE: If you accept Direct Loans and you are NEW to UC Davis or HAVE NEVER HAD A DIRECT LOAN BEFORE, you will need to complete an eMPN (electronic Master Promissory Note). You will need your FAFSA PIN to complete this login.
