Clinical/Research InterestsShagufta Yasmeen focuses on gynecology, including menopause and contraception. She has extensive experience performing gynecological procedures, including ultrasound and gynecological cancer surgeries, as well as managing complicated pregnancies. She is one of the principal investigators at UC Davis for the national Women's Health Initiative (WHI). Her current research project includes evaluating outcomes of category III mammograms in WHI participants, and use of lysophosphatidic acid as a screen diagnostic tool in the management of ovarian cancer. |
