Jennifer Hsia, M.D., MPH
Second Year Fellow

Dr. Jennifer Hsia received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in psychobiology with a minor in classical civilization. She received an MPH in Infectious Diseases, with a focus on Maternal and Child Health, and International Health at the University of California, Berkeley. After working for the California State Department of Public Health, she attended medical school at Boston University. After she completed residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, she came to UC Davis July 2015. Dr. Hsia spends most of her free time climbing rocks (both indoor or outdoor), exploring new restaurants and the outdoors with her husband and daughter, and playing softball.


Natasha Schimmoeller, M.D., MPH
First Year Fellow

Dr. Schimmoeller graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH with a combined B.A in Public Health and Master of Arts in Bioethics.  She attended New York Medical College from which she matriculated with her MD and a MPH in Global Health. She continued her stellar academic pursuits with completing her residency at Boston University, Boston Medical Center. During medical school, She was selected to be a member of her local ACOG District Junior Fellow Advisory Council.  While a resident, she was the Department representative to the Medical Center Ethics Committee.
