Melissa Chen, M.D., MPH
Second Year Fellow

Dr. Melissa Chen received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. She attended Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL, where she received her Medical Degree and Master in Public Health. After completing residency at Northwestern University, she joined the Family Planning team in July of 2014. Dr. Chen enjoys practicing yoga, learning how to cook, and traveling.

 

Jennifer Hsia, M.D., MPH
First Year Fellow

Dr. Jennifer Hsia received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in psychobiology with a minor in classical civilization. She received an MPH in Infectious Diseases, with a focus on Maternal and Child Health, and International Health at the University of California, Berkeley. After working for the California State Department of Public Health, she attended medical school at Boston University. After she completed residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, she came to UC Davis July 2015. Dr. Hsia spends most of her free time climbing rocks (both indoor or outdoor), exploring new restaurants and the outdoors with her husband and daughter, and playing softball.
