Dr. Trifiro’s approach to women’s health is to educate his patients about their healthcare and together develop a plan that achieves each individual woman’s goals. He provides all general obstetrics and gynecology care and has particular interests in minimally invasive surgery and treatment of gynecologic conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids, and abnormal menstrual bleeding.

Dr. Sweet specializes in non-malignant vulvar disorders and evaluation and management of abnormal pap smears. Dr. Sweet’s research interests include the effect of sex steroids on the vaginal immune response to sexually transmitted infections. Dr. Sweet believes patient education is an essential component to effective healthcare.
