The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Davis Health System seeks to recruit a full-time, academic Gynecologic Oncologist. The position will be recruited at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor or Clinical X series based on experience and qualifications.

Applicants must have completed fellowship training in gynecologic oncology and be Board eligible or certified in gynecologic oncology. Applicant must have experience with training fellows, residents and medical students and training and experience in research specific to women’s cancers. Ability to perform minimally invasive gynecologic surgery procedures is preferred. Applicant is preferred to have research experience with active research programs. Applicant is preferred to have clinical and research interests related to female sexuality in women with cancer.

Chosen candidate will be responsible for Gynecologic Oncology outpatient care and surgery with resident oversight. Chosen candidate will have direct involvement with students and residents in core curriculum and clinical teaching. Chosen candidate will have the potential for leadership positions within the division; department and/or Health System.

Applicants must possess an MD or DO from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Applicants must have completed an accredited fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology and be subspecialty board certified or eligible. Clinical and research interests in sexuality in women with cancer is preferred. Applicants must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment, and be able to adhere to policies and procedures. Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications.
