Leehu Zysberg, Ph.D.

Leehu Zysberg photoLeehu Zysberg is a visiting associate professor at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis and a senior lecturer with tenure at Tel Hai College in Israel.

His research focus is the connection between emotional intelligence and health outcomes. He has published articles on the relationship between gender and students’ decisions to enter the field of nursing, nursing students’ expectations of college, and the role of emotional intelligence in the selection of applicants for academic programs in care-related professions.

Zysberg has taught at the University of Haifa in Israel, Seattle University and Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland, Wash. His teaching experience includes statistics, research methods, psychology, human resources management and career management. He has also developed training programs as an independent consultant for several major U.S. corporations.

Zysberg received his Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the University of Haifa.
