Advancing the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis profiles donors, highlights scholarship recipients, shares news and delves deeper into the research happening at the School of Nursing. Published three times a year, Advancing illustrates how leaders, faculty, alumni, students and supporters fulfill the mission of the school.
Reimagining caregivers, redesigning education. This issue introduces the new Family Caregiving Institute, an initiative of the School of Nursing launched to support those who care for the well-being of other, a donor reinvesting in the school and future students focused on home health care, a scholarship recipient intent on serving as a role model for future nurses, and an innovative tool to foster new communication in the classroom.
