Search for Major Gifts Development Officer

UC Davis Health System is recruiting a Major Gifts Development Officer to support the proposed Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. This unprecedented professional opportunity to become a member of the team creating a new model of nursing will require an individual with creativity, passion, and vision. The launch of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing is visible nation-wide as it is an historic opportunity to transform the educational model for nurses and, thus, make a lasting impact on the healthcare delivery system.

The incumbent will join a highly-energetic team committed to launching an extraordinary school that will integrate themes of interprofessional team-based learning, technology innovation, scientific rigor, cultural competency, and evidenced-based practice throughout the curriculum. The incumbent is expected to consider innovative and effective strategies to maximize the impact of this launch funding. The successful candidate must have 5+ years demonstrated experience in building a comprehensive development program and a successful track record in major gifts fundraising, preferably in the field of health sciences and/or higher education; a bachelors degree is required.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
