I enjoy working in Labor & Delivery because every day is truly different. Being a part of a woman’s delivery experience is rewarding on many levels. My co-workers are a fun group, professional and supportive group. When I became a nurse I knew the best nurses worked at UC Davis, therefore I am proud to say “I work at UC Davis”.

Personally, I treasure the fact that I can be there to assist my patients and their families at a difficult time in their lives. I love the floor I work on and the nurses that I work with. They are all very warm and compassionate people. My unit is like my family away from home. Working at a teaching hospital has allowed me to learn and grow as a nurse in a way that I don’t believe would be possible anywhere else. Not only am I always learning, but I get to pass my knowledge on to others!
