I love that UC Davis Health System has provided me with lots of opportunities for educational as well as professional achievements. Along with my peers, I have been encouraged to be an active participant in both the Peri- Anesthesia Nurses Association of California, and the American Society of Peri-Anesthesia Nurses. Additionally, I truly appreciate that UC Davis Health System rewards its' nurses for obtaining specialty certifications in our areas of expertise and encourages education by offering compensation to attend professional classes and seminars to enhance our practice.

As a result of my training here at UC Davis Health System I have had the opportunity and privilege of contributing to the university's mission to improve lives socially and provide quality care to underserved populations. I have traveled with the Rotaplast International Organization to Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and the Philippines. It brings me so much joy to see these young children with cleft lip and palate deformities get the care they need. I am proud to be a UC Davis Health System nurse!
