FEIGAL AWARDED UC DAVIS SCHOOL OF MEDICINE’S INAUGURAL TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AWARD
Alma mater recognizes C-Path's Ellen G. Feigal for collaborative efforts at streamlining of drug approval process

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.) — The University of California, Davis School of Medicine recognized alumna Ellen G. Feigal with its first ever Alumni Transformational Leadership Award.
The award recognized Dr. Feigal's impact on enhancing the medical profession and improving the welfare of the general public. The award specifically cited Feigal's collaborative work with the Food and Drug Administration, National Cancer Institute, Translational Genomics Institute and Critical Path Institute as instrumental in cutting through red tape and bringing life-saving drugs to patients as quickly and safely as possible.
Dr. Feigal graduated from the UC Davis School of Medicine in 1981 and has been on loan to C-Path from TGen since 2006. The award was part of the UC Davis School of Medicine's celebration of the 35th anniversary of its first graduating class.
