APPLICATIONS SOUGHT FOR UC DAVIS HEALTH SYSTEM'S COMMUNITY ADVISORY BOARD

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.) UC Davis Health System is seeking applicants for its Community Advisory Board, a group of volunteer community members who serve as advisors and ambassadors for the health system.

The advisory board is a representative body of 12-to-25 members representing diverse personal and professional backgrounds, including interested citizens, health-care providers, consumers and patients. The members advise health system leadership on broad-based community health and long-range planning issues. Board members serve a six-year term and serve on at least one subcommittee during their tenure. The full board meets quarterly, while subcommittees meet approximately four times a year.

Application forms must be submitted by Jan. 26. All applications will be reviewed and interviews will be held in March 2007. Terms for new members will begin on July 1, 2007.
