12TH ANNUAL GOLF FORE KIDS CHARITY
GOLF TOURNAMENT SET

(SACRAMENTO, Calif.)
— The 12th annual Golf Fore Kids tournament
to raise money for the UC
Davis Children’s Hospital CAARE Diagnostic and Treatment
Center will be held Monday, June 6 at the Rancho Murieta Country
Club.
Proceeds will be used to further CAARE Center programs, including
crisis intervention, individual, group and family therapy, and
home-visiting services for children who have been traumatized.
The center sees more than 650 children a month who are victims
of sexual or physical abuse or other trauma, or who have been
assigned to foster-care families.
The best-ball tournament starts with registration at 9 a.m.; tee
time at 11 a.m.; cocktails at 4:30 p.m.; and dinner and awards
at 5 p.m. Individuals may register for $200 per person. The entry
fee covers green fees, cart lunch and dinner. There also will
be raffle prizes, trophies and a live auction. The tournament
will also include putting, hole-in-one, longest drive, and closest
to pin contests for prizes.
Sponsorships, ranging from $300 to $25,000, are also available.
