Thomas S. Nesbitt, M.D., M.P.H., Interim Vice Chancellor for Human Health Sciences and Dean of the School of Medicine, oversees UC Davis Health System, including the School of Medicine, the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, the 1,000-member physician practice group, and UC Davis Medical Center, a 619-bed acute-care hospital.

James E. Goodnight Jr., M.D., Ph.D., Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and Director of the Practice Management Board, is responsible for designing the structure, rules, responsibilities, funding needs and physician medical practice goals for UC Davis.

Tim Maurice, M.B.A. is Chief Financial Officer for UC Davis Health System, responsible for overall financial operations of the health system.

Frederick J. Meyers, M.D., M.A.C.P., Executive Associate Dean, oversees the research, teaching, clinical care and community engagement missions of UC Davis School of Medicine.

Michael Minear is Chief Information Officer for UC Davis Health System, managing all technology initiatives, strategies and acquisitions to provide maximum benefit throughout the health system's research, education and clinical care missions.

Chong Porter, is Associate Vice Chancellor of Health Sciences Development and Alumni Relations, responsible for enhancing the culture of philanthropy at UC Davis Health System and expanding the base of donor support through alumni relations and community engagement.

Heather M. Young, Ph.D., R.N., F.A.A.N., a nurse leader, educator and scientist and a nationally recognized expert in gerontological nursing and rural health care, she is associate vice chancellor for nursing and founding dean of the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis.
