we are often restricted by law as to what information we can release
regarding our patients. We hope the following will help you as you
prepare your stories. If you have any questions, please feel free
to contact us or
call (916) 734-9040.
For help with
emergent stories after hours, on holidays or weekends, you may call
the hospital operator at (916) 734-2011 and ask to have the public
affairs on-call person paged.
Why don't we
say a patient is in "grave" or "guarded" condition?
Why don't we provide a prognosis? Learn about California
state laws regarding patient confidentiality.
