PARTY TO CELEBRATE WINNER OF NATIONAL HOLIDAY CARD CONTEST

WHO & WHAT -- Twelve-year-old UC Davis Children's Hospital pediatric patient Tiara Hurts is among five winners of a national holiday card contest sponsored by MultiPlan, a preferred health provider organization. An ice cream party will be held in Tiara's honor in the UC Davis Children's Hospital playroom.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, MultiPlan's Holiday Card Program solicits holiday drawings from the pediatric patients of its network facilities and posts them on the MultiPlan Web site. There, the public gets to vote for its favorite drawings. The five drawings with the highest total votes are printed as holiday cards and free boxes of these cards are donated to all participating hospitals.
