EMG laboratory
The UC Davis Medical Center Electromyography (EMG) Laboratory tests for nerve and muscle disorders by recording the electrical characteristics of the muscle tissue and the response of nerves to electrical stimulation. Staffed by a certified technician, the lab can perform a wide range of electrophysiologic procedures including the study of single muscle fibers.
