The UC Davis Department of Neurology offers several one- to two-year advanced training fellowships that are open to qualified candidates.
This fellowship provides the opportunity for training and experience in the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory performing, interpreting, and monitoring a variety of tests including electroencephalograms (EEG), electromyographs (EMG), video EEGs, nerve conduction studies, and diagnostic nocturnal polysomnograms.

This postdoctoral fellowship is an active training and clinical program with the behavioral neurology group, cognitive neuroscientists in the UC Davis Center for Neuroscience, and researchers in the UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Center. Fellows work with faculty in a variety of related areas, including language and neurolinguistics, presurgical evaluation of epilepsy patients, and aging and dementia-related clinical research and training programs.

This postdoctoral fellowship is a clinically-oriented training program that focuses on diagnostic evaluation and treatment of patients with epilepsy and seizures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The fellowship provides extensive experience in EEG and video-EEG monitoring, and also includes opportunities for participation in faculty research in clinical epileptology and basic science.

This fellowship provides the opportunity for training in clinical evaluation and treatment of all types of movement disorders, including Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ataxia, dystonia, tremor, myoclonus, and other disorders. Fellows will also gain experience in the conduct of clinical trials and observational studies of movement disorders.

This fellowship provides the opportunity for clinical experience with a variety of cognitive and neurodegenerative disorders in the Alzheimer’s Disease Center at UC Davis, which maintains one of the largest and most diverse dementia cohorts in the nation. Mentors with particular strength in brain imaginf, neuropsychology, ERPs, neuropathogy, and biostatistics are available.
