Lynda L. White, PA, MHS.

Lynda White received her BA degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, her training as a physician assistant at the Stanford Primary Care Associate Program and a Master of Health Services degree from the University of California, Davis.

She has been employed as a research associate in the tissue culture lab, Dept. of Zoology, University of Oklahoma; Lipid Chemistry Research Lab, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma); Good Samaritan Hospital neurophysiology research lab (Portland Oregon); pulmonary research lab, School of Veterinary Medicine, UC Davis; pulmonary research lab Harvard School of Public Health, Boston Mass.; child psychology research project, Dept. of Psychiatry, UC Davis.

She held the position of Student Affairs Coordinator, Family Nurse Practitioner Program, UC Davis and served as faculty and associate director of the UC Davis Family Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Program. She practiced medicine as a physician assistant in the Family Practice Clinic, UC Davis Medical Center.

She has served as adjunct faculty in the California Northstate College of Pharmacy, Sacramento CA and currently serves as adjunct faculty in the Primary Care Associate Program, Stanford University.

She has served on the accreditation site visit team for the Accreditation Review Committee for Physician Assistant Education and as expert witness for physician assistant practice for the Attorney General’s office, State of California and for the Physician Assistant Committee of the Medical Board of California.

She recently served on two research teams in the Dept. of Family and Community Medicine (Center for Health Policy Research) on two federally funded grants in the area of enhancing patients’ participation in their own health care.

She currently works as a physician assistant in the Medical Surveillance Program, Dept. of Public Health Sciences, UC Davis.
