Our Staff

Kie Shidara received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Biology from UC Davis. As a Junior Specialist, Kie works on aspects of the basic science and clinical research efforts for osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. In the laboratory, her work involves treatment of osteoporosis using endogenous mesenchymal stem cells, including the processing of bone tissue, operating the Micro-CT scanner, analyzing bone microstructure, and interpreting data. She also assists with the osteoarthritis and osteoporosis clinical trials.
