The MIND Institute's volunteer team is made up of men and women from diverse backgrounds, high school and college students, retirees, transitioning adults and working professionals.

Child Life Program

Volunteers work with the MIND Institute's Child Life Specialists.  Primary duties include providing play activities and supervising children who visit the research clinic and Massie Family evaluation clinic.  Other volunteer duties may include maintaining the play and common areas; cleaning toys; preparing for and staffing special events; performing administrative tasks; and assisting other departments with special projects.  Volunteers may also gain educational experience by observing children in research or evaluation settings.
