Education opportunities
The M.I.N.D. Institute provides year-round education opportunities on research-based, multi-disciplinary approaches to assessing, diagnosing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders. We are committed to extending our research and clinical knowledge to the general public; professionals in K-12 education, psychology, neurology and related fields; and students completing undergraduate or graduate degrees.
Lectures, seminars, consultations and mentorships are among the experiences offered. Recent endeavors include consulting with UC Davis Extension on a professional development program on autism spectrum disorders. A collaboration with St. HOPE Public Schools and the UC Davis School of Education to open a full-inclusion preschool in Sacramento. And the new Minds behind the M.I.N.D. lecture series, bringing the community together with researchers unraveling the mysteries of autism, Tourette syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and more.
