Microbial Pathogenesis and Host-Microbe Interactions

A Research Interest Group at the University of California, Davis

Several research groups with an interest in bacterial pathogenesis regularly meet to present research in progress and discuss relevant papers from the current literature.  The presentations are open to any students or faculty with interest in the topics.

• To provide a forum for trainees to present ongoing studies. hone presentation skills and receive feedback.
• To encourage discussion of emerging concepts relevant to bacterial pathogenesis and mammalian immune response.
• To enhance the opportunity for collaboration via dialogue among scientists with complementary interests.
