Our mission is to develop statewide standards in the training of professionals who desire to become competent, effective, and compassionate providers of services for survivors of acute sexual assault.
Goals and objectives
- To increase access of training to qualified medical personnel
- To increase knowledge and skills of health care providers who perform forensic examinations
- To increase the development of Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART)
- To increase knowledge of prevention and intervention of the criminal justice and law enforcement personnel
- To increase knowledge of forensic examination protocols of the criminal justice and law enforcement personnel.
