Research interests

Microbiology; host-parasite interactions and mechanisms of bacterial pathogenesis. Nocardial interactions in the brain. Host interactions with Mycobacterium and Nocardia; T-cells and host defenses, flow cytometry and cytokines in the lung during infection; bacterial induced neurodegeneration and nocardial association with Parkinson’s Disease, chemotherapy to Nocardia.
