Dining with Diabetes

Dining with Diabetes is a 2 hour class focusing on diabetes nutrition basics.Participants who take this class are eligible for the Dining with Diabetes: Advanced course.Taught by a Registered Dietician, this class covers topics such as:

  • Basic carbohydrate counting
  • Meal timing
  • Portion control
  • Label reading
  • General eating away from home

The classes are open to UC Davis Health System Patients and Employees. These classes are offered in the Lawrence J. Ellison Ambulatory Care Center (Ellison Building) in Sacramento and the UC Davis Medical Group clinics.
