Sleep medicine training program
Thank you for your interest in the Sleep Medicine Fellowship Training Program at the UC Davis Medical Center. The goal of our program is to produce skilled sleep medicine clinicians, teachers and investigators. The strength of our program lies in its interdisciplinary approach to sleep medicine training. Fellows will rotate through two core sleep disorders clinics and laboratories: UC Davis Medical Center Sleep Medicine Center, and the Sacramento VA Medical Center sleep disorders clinic and laboratory. Additionally there are core weekly clinics in neurology, otolaryngology, and pediatric pulmonary/sleep disordered breathing. Furthermore, there are 4 months of psychiatry and dental clinic experience. Clinical research opportunities include patient and disease oriented studies and epidemiologic investigations.
Eligibility
The applicant must have completed an ACGME accredited residency program in internal medicine, neurology, otolaryngology, pediatrics or psychiatry. Please plan to sit for a board exam in your specialty prior to completing the fellowship training.
