Hematology and Oncology Fellowship Program

Research

Clinical and basic research programs are available, and viewed as an integral component of the training. The fellows will choose a research project, which may include clinical or basic research with a faculty member serving as mentor. The fellow and the mentor usually conceptualize the project during the first year of the fellowship. The fellows are encouraged to present research results at local research conferences and national meetings, and to submit manuscripts for publication.
