Karnjit Johl, M.D.
Dr. Karnjit Johl graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Loma Linda where she served as Chief Resident at the affiliated county hospital. Subsequently, she joined the staff at the VAMC in Loma Linda as a primary care provider and served as Associate Program Director, Student Education in Internal Medicine as well as the VA site director for student education. Since joining the faculty at UC Davis, she has switched the focus of her clinical care to hospital based patients but has continued to pursue her interest in medical education through a variety of roles at different educational levels. In her newest role as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at UC Davis, her focus is on clinical medical education, assessment of clinical competence, and the resident evaluation process.
