Primary Care Network
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine currently serves three primary care network locations: Rancho Cordova, Roseville, and Colusa. A faculty cardiologist is on duty for one or more half day clinics at each location. On-site consultations, EKG and echocardiography interpretations and, in some locations, exercise stress testing are performed by cardiologists at each primary care network location.
In addition, patients can be scheduled for admission to the hospital and for ancillary procedures (including stress tests, echocardiograms, nuclear procedures, and ambulatory or event monitors.) Patients can also be seen in one of the Ambulatory Care Center Cardiology Clinics by calling the 24-hour UC Davis Medical Center referral number, (916) 734-5678. All ancillary procedures are interpreted within a 24 hour period after the test is completed.
